Cairn holds a 62.39% interest in Cairn India – which is listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange and the National Stock Exchange of India. Cairn India has interests in 13 blocks in India and Sri Lanka.

Capricorn, a non-listed subsidiary, is exploration-led with a strategy of organic growth and value-enhancing acquisition. Capricorn's core assets are in Greenland, the Mediterranean and South Asia.
