Overview

Cairn has built a frontier exploration position offshore Morocco with a combined, operated acreage of 8,900km2. The area comprises a 50% operated interest in the Foum Draa blocks 1-3, a 37.5% operated interest in the Cap Juby Maritime blocks I-III licence, and a 20% non-operated interest in the Kosmos Energy operated Cap Boujdour block. The Cap Juby Maritime and Foum Draa blocks are adjacent to one another.

Cairn has now drilled three exploration wells offshore Morocco in the Foum Draa blocks (2013), Cap Juby Maritime blocks (2014), and Cap Boujdour block (2015).
